Island Montessori School
Basketball
Age: Starts at 6th grade, but 5th grade can be managers/practice players. We have a boys and a girls team.
Season: Tryouts will be late September-early October and the season ends in December.
Practice & Games: Each team has two practices a week, with one at IMS and one at Carolina Beach Rec Center. Practice days can vary if there are games that week. There are 6-10 games a year.
Practices will begin and run as follows:
Boys: Monday and on occasion Tuesday (Island Montessori) & Thursday (Carolina Beach Rec Center) 3:00 - 4:15
Girls: Tuesday (Carolina Beach Rec Center) & Wednesday (Island Montessori) 3:00 - 4:30 & and on occasion Friday Conditioning (Island Montessori) 3:00-3:30
Things Needed: Proper shoes and hydration for practices and games
